Primitive Tent Camping

Accommodations:

  • Full hook-ups -Water/sewer/electric - and partial hook-ups (water/electric).

  • Tent sites  

  • Primitive campsites -No water, electric or sewer.

  • 30 & 50 amp electric 

  • Year-round Camping

  • Summer Seasonal sites -(May 1st - November 1st) -  ($250 deposit to hold site; $3,250 to be paid in full upon check-in)

  • Limited pull-through sites

  • Pet friendly -(2 dog maximum; aggressive dogs not permitted)

    "Great relaxing long weekend at Homestead! Owners are very nice and flexible (we had last minute arrival changes.) There are a variety of spots for different size campers and electric/water/sewer options. We have a 35-foot travel trailer and found site 93 to be perfect! There's a huge wooden playground that my daughter loves even at age 11. All the kids are nice and inviting get along really well. There's even an old-school merry-go-round that keeps my daughter occupied for hours! We can't wait to come back!"

    "My stay so far has been excellent. This campground is quiet and peaceful. The shaded wooded sites are nice and spacious. The new owners are making impressive upgrades to utilities and sites. Maintenance is frequently being done which you often don't see at other places. The campground has quick access to Quakertown and Rt 309 and backs up to a Preserve where you can take a peaceful stroll."

  • “Pleasant stay, no frills camping & well worth it"

    “Stayed for 5 nights and the owner gave us the weekly rate which saved us a nice amount of money. The campground is run by a woman and her daughter and they were extremely helpful with letting us know particulars about the area. The sites are ample with a variety of sites, based on your specific camping equipment. We had a partially shaded site with full hook ups which was perfect for our 35 ft 5th wheel toy hauler. Their other amenities are minimal but there are plenty stores in the area for essentials. The campground is remarkably quiet at night and we enjoyed our stay. We were in the area, visiting from Vermont, to see friends and family. While there are other campgrounds in the region, we found this to be one of the few that has full hook ups.”

  • "Quiet, Rustic, Peaceful"

    We love this place due to its quiet, rustic atmosphere. No screaming kids running around or loud adults partying at night. The hosts are very sweet and accommodating. They keep the campground woodsy-rustic for this pristine area. Limited Full hookups though.
